In this talk John-David will give an introduction to web components, how Salesforce adopted and used them to create the Lightning Web Components (LWC) framework, walk through developing your first LWC app, and cover language based isolation in JavaScript through the Lightning Locker service and how it makes Lightning apps and components more secure.
