Why I chose Firebase to add Real-Time Data to Luzme

For 2 years I have searched to find a good real-time data solution, to add real-time awesomeness into my ebook price comparison site, Luzme.

(“Good” = easy to implement + scalable + financially viable)

And now I think I have found it in Firebase! From an initial investigation in January 2015, I have built a completely new AngularJS/Firebase front-end which goes live in August 2015.

This talk covers why I chose to make that change from a business and technical perspective, and shares lessons learned from my experience.
