The amount of hacking attacks is growing so fast that we are no longer surprised to hear about networks being successfully compromised. One of the main problems is the huge and growing strength of attackers over defenders. How can we get out of this uncomfortable situation? What can we do to even out the balance while still defending the security of the internet? In this talk, we’ll address the real and available options for crowdsourcing security, which will soon become a standard part of security solutions.

Tomáš ZaťkoTomáš graduated from the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, specializing in information security and audit. He has extensive experience with building systems with enhanced security, network security, and application testing. He also is holds certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). Tomáš is also a co-author of the last version of the OWASP Testing Guide V4 and is actively involved in IT security research - for instance, he came up with these essentials for preventing and avoid spyware infection from the popular Awesome Screenshot Chrome extension (e.g. http://bit.ly/1A9tAGf).
