• What is the talk about?

  Fredrik: Bringing change in the lagging world of medicine, sometimes starts with a personal story. This crazy idea we had in 2010 has now become a medical grade iOS-application, which currently ranks #1 among diabetes apps.

• Who is it for?

  Fredrik: Entrepreneurs, mobile and web developers and those who wish their lines of code to mean more than a way to pay rent.
  
  Oh and regulatory affairs managers! Don't forget them! :)

• What will the audience get from it?

  Fredrik: A glimpse of the mySugr story and our journey to where we are today, which is a quite unique roll.

• What do you presently work at?

  Fredrik: At mySugr we build mobile apps which help people with diabetes – the Companion (http://appstore.com/mysugrcompanion) app is a registered class I medical device, approved by the FDA, which actually saves lives by making diabetes therapy awesome.

• Which of your existing achievements do you value the most?

  Fredrik: Creating an app which actually saves lives. Taking it from idea, to medical device, to the #1 diabetes app in most countries where we are active.
  
  We have grown our team from 3 to 25 people, have offices in Italy, Austria and the US.
  
  This has been an amazing ride which keeps on getting better.

• What would you like to achieve?

  Fredrik:
  Climb Kilimanjaro.
  Run half a marathon in less than 1:45.
  Cure diabetes, but until we achieve this we will make it awesome to have it.

• What do you look forward to at the WebExpo?

  Fredrik: Learn from some of the brightest minds in web and mobile as well as get to know new potential coworkers!
